A MEXICAN PIZZA REVOLUTION

PIZZERIA EL JEFE was an idea that was dreamt up by our founder while visiting his favorite vacation spot in La Paz, Mexico. He was served an amazing flat bread pizza with cilantro and fresh seafood and fell in love with the concept of Mexican pizza.

Since that day in La Paz he has been working on concepts and flavors to bring a Mexican pizza to San Diego. Pizzeria El Jefe was created to help spark a Mexican pizza revolution, combining two culinary Jefe’s Mexico and Italy to collaborate on fresh new ideas and create a new category of pizza.
